Meet the Maker

Hi, my name is Deidre Anderson. I am the owner and maker of Novel Design by Deidre headbands. I am a wife, mama of 3, foster mom, and small business owner. I have worked for 14 years as a cosmetologist. Now, I am a full-time, work from home mom, and I wouldn't have it any other way. 

Each one of our headbands is handmade in Toledo, Ohio. 

Since opening my shop in 2013 I have created so many fun headbands with hundreds of gorgeous fabrics and prints. Each one is made and packaged with love and care. Owning this business has allowed me to share my passion for creating fun hair accessories with other people from all over the world.
